It provides industry standard current or voltage outputs for accurate interfacing of loadcells with control and monitoring systems.
This amplifier is ideally suited to engineering applications. Its small size makes it easy to mount inside existing equipment.
The voltage output version of the amplifier has a bi-polar output for use with bi-directional loadcells even though it is powered from a uni-polar supply.
The amplifier is easily calibrated using non-interactive zero and span trimmers. When it is purchased with a loadcell it will be calibrated for use with the loadcell.
If the SY011 is supplied with a loadcell it will normally be calibrated to read the loadcell output in the same force units as the loadcell calibration. A traceable system certificate will be supplied for the amplifier and loadcell combination.
CE – This instrumentation product complies with the requirements of the European EMC directive.
The SY011 voltage output version. It provides a bi-polar ±5V or ±10V output for bi-directional load cells, even though it runs from a uni-polar 24Vdc supply. That means tension and compression readings appear as positive and negative output signals without a separate negative rail.
Both are adjusted with the SY011’s non-interactive trimmers, so changing one setting doesn’t shift the other. Printable user instructions are available for both the current and voltage output versions to guide you through setting it up with your load cell and monitoring system.
Any full-range output between 0.5 and 100mV/V. The SY011’s input sensitivity is factory set within that range to suit your specific load cell, and the value is specified in the last part of the order code, usually 1.0 or 2.0mV/V, though other values are also possible.
Yes. Its small ABS case measures 100 x 49 x 20mm including terminals, which makes it easy to fit inside existing equipment. Keep in mind that its operating temperature range is 0 to +50°C, so the location or enclosure it sits in should stay within those limits during normal use.
